What is hrd attestation ?

HRD attestation is a process carried out by the state's HRD department. HRD attestation is a legalisation procedure used to verify the authenticity of a document. It is the initial stage in the legalisation of educational documents in India. All educational documents issued by the MHRD are eligible for HRD attestation. All educational documents that require attestation and Apostille must first be authenticated by the State Human Resource Development (HRD) of the state in which they were issued.

 

For obtaining a visa, work, or higher education abroad, many countries have made certificate HRD attestation mandatory. To obtain embassy certification, you must go through the State HRD attestation procedure.

 

Documents Required for State HRD attestation:

To obtain HRD attestation, you must send the original degree certificate, a copy of the mark sheet, a copy of the offer letter, a copy of your passport, and two passport-size pictures to the HRD office.

 

HRD attestation Procedure:

To authenticate and validate the document, the HRD attestation technique has two steps. You can see the steps in greater detail here:

 

1.     Documents Verification: The relevant State HRD sends a copy of the educational documents to the concerned College/University/School along with a verification letter to verify the document's veracity. The College/University/School then checks the document and sends a confirmation letter to the concerned HRD alerting them of the document's authenticity and legitimacy.

2.     HRD Attestation: The designated HRD authority attests the document with their signature and signature based on the authentication performed by the concerned College/University/School.
