HRD
attestation is a process carried out by the state's HRD department. HRD
attestation is a legalisation procedure used to verify the authenticity of a
document. It is the initial stage in the legalisation of educational documents
in India. All educational documents issued by the MHRD are eligible for HRD
attestation. All educational documents that require attestation and Apostille
must first be authenticated by the State Human Resource Development (HRD) of
the state in which they were issued.
For
obtaining a visa, work, or higher education abroad, many countries have made
certificate HRD attestation mandatory. To obtain embassy certification, you
must go through the State HRD attestation procedure.
PROCEDURE of MEA ATTESTATION:
All
original papers requiring Attestation or Apostille should be authenticated
first by the relevant agencies in the state where they were issued. The
designated authorities in the event of personal documents are the Home
Department/General Administration Department. In the case of educational
documents, the Education Department of the respective State Government/Union
Territory must first authenticate the documents. The following are the
locations of the Regional Authentication Centres (RACs) in the states/UTs where
the papers should be authenticated initially. The documents are attested by the
Ministry of External Affairs based on the signatures of the designated signing
authority of the State Government/Union Territory/Chambers of Commerce;
nevertheless, the Ministry of External Affairs does not accept responsibility
for the contents of the documents.
