Non-Resident Keralites
Affairs is a branch of the Kerala government that was founded on December 6,
1996 to address and resolve issues affecting non-resident Keralaites. It is the
designated authority for attestation of Kerala-based educational documents. It
carries out welfare programmes and provides additional support to Keralites.
NORKA's mission is to locate lost Keralites in other countries and to provide
HRD certification for educational certificates. Norka attestation is the name
of the HRD attestation process.
Procedure of Norka Attestation
The first step is to complete
an online application form in order to receive an authentication certificate,
which saves time. Second Step: Submit the application form to Norka along with
the original passport and all educational credentials. Finally, the Norka will
certify the educational certificates, and applicants will be able to pick up
their documents from Norka facilities.
